Re: your effects setup?
Boss PS-2 thread on here convinced me to pick up a Boss PS-2. Getting lost in washes of crunchy digital artifacts.
tuner > BD-2 > rat clone > PS-2 > electric mistress

Very glued and greasy reverb sound

Current board for home use - pretty indulgent and heaps of fun.
The drive/fuzz/distortion pedals are always in a state of flux, but the others have been fairly steady for a while. I’m still trying to bond with the KoT - maybe it’s more suited to stage playing than home volumes?

This is really cool. Can you switch between the 2 effects on each button or are those fixed pairs?JVG wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 4:32 am

I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Re: your effects setup?
Cheers!
In this setup the paired ones still need to be switched individually if swapping between the two. However it’s not often that i want to switch between phaser and vibe, or between chorus and flange, in the middle of something, so it doesn’t result in much pedal dancing. I know that one of the more advanced switchers could give complete control of everything, but i don’t really need it for what i do.
It’s pretty handy having the main buttons lined up at the front via the switcher, I must say. And it’s soft touch, which is nice.
Another advantage of this arrangement is keeping the ‘unused’ pedals out of the signal path, to avoided unnecessary noise or signal loss.

this is what i've been running lately. sorry for the shit photo.
tuner/walrus audio ages/dirty little secret/digitech digital delay/ibanez de7......then the pile of pedals on my floor i swap in and out of the two delay spots. I need to get a new power supply with more connections and some more patch cables to hook more of my pedals up.

lovely board! how do you use the ps3? i have one, and i find it hard to get a sound out of it that really resonates with me. i'll plug it in with an expression pedal, and mess around for a bit, have my fun and then it usually ends up out of my set up.....but people seem to love them!

Hey thanks guys!!
I have a few goodies on the shelf...sometimes I think I should put together a small "side cart" board to kick up the fun factor here and there.
