Here's mine. Clever thing this. The Amplifire sends a midi out to a DB11 Loop Expander under the board. That means that I can switch from ANY combination of Amp, Cab and FX with a single button press.

Signal path:
Guitar > DB11 Loop Expander input - this has a buffer and 4 midi-switchable loops for the Pitchfork, EP boost, EHX Soul Food and Big Muff > Amplifire Input > Amplifire FX Send > HOF2 > Boss RC3 > Amplifire FX return > Amplifire out > FRFR or PA.
All the Amplifire's FX - wah, boosts, modulation, trem, delay etc are available too.

Won't be selling it as it holds a lot of sentimental value, but haven't plugged it in since the 90s so can't remember how it sounds - so it might end up back in the big box

every time i change up my board, i always forget to post it here. i dont have any close up pictures of this board though.
Image

basically it's a korg pitch black >> landlord effects compressor (i use it to calm down some guitars or in some cases, just turn the comp all the way up to fuck with the sound) >> MuLove. (it's a boost pedal of my own design. silicon transistor boost with a bias control) >> klon clone >> rat II >> bespeco volume >> donner tutti chorus >> donner yellow fall delay >> donner verb square reverb (usually on the modulated setting) >> ditto looper >> behringer vintage time machine (for the end of the world delay sounds)

Have posted before but I have done some breaking up / changing etc...

Simple board with all the essentials.

All-around big board. Pretty much covers everything I usually do.

Stoner-rock board I usually use with my SG with P90s.

I've been struggling with finding a basic effects loop pedal (as I still haven't finished a build from scratch :fp:), and forgot about the Boss LS-2 Line Selector. I was looking at the options for the modes, and thought with each pedal having 2 loops, if you used 2 of them, you could get some really cool tricks out of them. Like, if you had one LS-2 with gain pedals in loop A, and a second LS-2 in loop B. The second one could have delay in loop A and reverb in loop B, so you could go from gain to delay or reverb with a quick pressing of the first LS-2, or depending on the mode, blend them all.

Anywho, sorry for the rambling (tired, though great weekend). Anyone ever use a Boss LS-2?

I’ve got a LS-2, but it doesn’t get any use at the moment.
When I did use it I utilized it’s ability to run two effects in parallell. Excellent tool!

Yeah, the parallel effects thing it does is pretty useful. I use my LS-2 to run a crunchy distortion and a big muff in parallel, it gives you a much fuller sound than running one into the other. It's also good to run two time-synced delays parallel but have one on say dotted eighth for that U2 sound (if you do this in series instead it all gets a bit messy).

There's also a new Electro-Harmonix pedal on the market which does 3 parallel loops, the "Tri Parallel Mixer". I feel like it might be more a curiosity rather than particularly useful to have a third loop though.

Thanks for the replies guys! For the gains, I would probably use it pretty simply, but the parallel option for delays is a REALLY neat idea!

My wife got me the Soul Food for Christmas and I'm loving it coupled with the Rat. Looking to replace my Grail and Digidelay (can't believe I still have this fucking thing). Any recs for a solid reverb/delay/looper?
