What do you think of the Morgan amp?

It's pretty darn nice IMO. It's definitely one of the beefier/most muscular sounding Vox type circuits I've played through. I think it's got some tonal overlap/similarity w/ my OR50 setup at its Vox-iest when I've got the AC20 dialed for Top Boost-ier sounds. The power scaling/master seems to work 100% as advertised as well and quality of construction seems great. It's certainly seemed a better value to me than the current AC30s at the equivalent price w/ the Morgan being on deep sale when I grabbed mine and seemed to provide more rewarding dynamic response than the AC30CCH it wound up effectively replacing.

Thanks man! I don't think either of those basses will be going anywhere anytime soon for sure, I just wish I could find a suitable cover for the Guild pup :)

Lady nights guitar rig when the weans were in bed - not one for the gear snobs amp sims and fake tape.

Awesome setup and great use of an Ikea chopping board.

I mean, I have a proper board but for a coupla pedz, the £3 chopping board that fits in a gigbag is just fine!

I'm loving the sound of the trem activated on the 1974x and the verb on the Maz Jr. w/ the cabs in an X pattern, it's got a very cool semi-harmonic style combing sound and an almost rotary kind of effect ;D

When I was in high school (let's generously call it 8,000 years ago) I was obsessed with the guitar effect on the solo / breakdown section of The Jesus & Mary Chain song Catchfire. Now that I'm an adult and have an arsenal of effects I spent some time this afternoon to figure this out. It's basically a really deep, square-wave tremolo driving a fuzz with an expression pedal controlling the rate of the trem. And it's glorious. Anyway, here's what it looks like on a board.

Love the Park Fuzz, a massively under-rated unit!

Agreed. The eq knob has a big impact on the fuzz sound which makes the pedal really flexible.
