That looks great!! I'm a little bummed that the Belle Epoch and your tuner aren't in equally angular enclosures thoughloudwizard wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 8:29 am

if only more pedals had unusual enclosures!
and i actually found my other pink coily patch cable right after this photo was taken - order has been restored to my pedal world.

Re: Setup of the day
I joined another band, so naturally I had to mess with things. Not sure about the Strat yet, but I'm kind of digging it for this music.

Thanks mij!
I think mid century furniture, design, and other accoutrements have pretty much taken over my desire for guitar gear at this point, but then again... I have great gear so I can't really want for anything anyhow.
This setup sounds spectacular! Hard to really get a bad sound out of a Tele into an old Fender amp and some reverb.

Definitely a nice place to be held up in during a viral isolation.zhivago wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 6:07 amSounds like a great place to be!StevenO wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 4:24 amI think mid century furniture, design, and other accoutrements have pretty much taken over my desire for guitar gear at this point, but then again... Ah, those ol Sansui speakers. I've had a couple sets. Ex took one set, and I managed to blow up the other. Womp womp. You used to be able to pick them up at garage sales for nothing, and at some point the word got out.
This is an excellent rectangle

Re: Setup of the day
These are actually the knock offs by Realistic/Tandy. The Nova 7b speakers. I'm quite picky, unfortunately, when it comes to sound and these honestly sound amazing (quite bass heavy, but in a good not muddy way). I got them for cheap at a thrift store and cleaned them up a bit.mackerelmint wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:13 amAh, those ol Sansui speakers. I've had a couple sets. Re: Setup of the day
No kidding? I had no idea the Sansuis got copied. Well, they're damn good speakers. Mine were like yours, pretty heavy in the bottom end but in a flattering way. Smooth and chewy. Guess they did a good job cloning them! Apparently they were hot shit when they were new, but people moved on as the 70s rolled into the 80s and they were forgotten about almost entirely until a few years ago when all the people like me who'd been buying them up at garage sales for no money started blabbing about it on the internet. It always happens!
I'm just glad that such good speakers are being enjoyed once again.
