looks great yannis.. PS:  Is that the new pedaltrain mini board?
i was looking at those -- they seem like a good board even though
kinda pricey for a board.. but it does look really neat looking.. is that it?
PS:  what do you do about power for your pedals?

hey thanks!

actually, the pedalboard is a version 1 Pedaltrain 2....sliced in half!  :o

I wanted to get a mini, but found that I could just slice the one I had...half is this:

and the other half is my ddd board:

you see, I never really liked the two-tier style of boards, and instead ofg buying two new pedaltrain minis (one for home rig and one for ddd rig), I just took the old pedaltrain outside, got a saw and sliced it in half :)

the power supply on the ddd board is Boss adapter into the TU2, then daisy chain to the rest, plus an extra supply for the 10 band EQ, which requires 18 volt

the power supply on the one with the AD900 etc is a Burkey Six, velcro'd to the front:

the pic is a bit old, right now the sockets face upwards, and I don't have George L's anymore, as I had some pedals spacing issues with them (a bit OCD of me, I know)...now the cables are normal flat patch cable like these:

Good thread idea .. I've been trying out different pedals at practice just to get a feel for them. I usually only take one or two, but so far the bass player tells me he hasn't seen the same one twice.

Last night's setup was JM -> Barge Concepts BB Jr -> Hotcake -> AC15TBX. Sounded great except the B fuzz setting on the BB Jr totally disappeared when the whole band was playing .. fortunately the A setting was loud, raucous and fed back nicely.

I'll have to line up a few more pedals as currently the bass player has more stuff on the floor than me (tuner, eq, fuzz) and we can't have that!

kind of lame, but I was doing some transposing.

the organ's got some electrical problems so it occasionally makes weird underwater gargling noises.

it's a roland mc-303

basically a drum machine/sequencer/sampler from the mid 90's that's unbelievably clunky and user-unfriendly so I don't use it as such. It does have some pretty gritty and dated sounding pads though, which are really really neat for filling space/creating ambiance in band situations, especially when run through delay/dirt.

i find him to be a total PITA.

honestly, i've given up trying to use it as a reliable drum machine. It's quirky and weird sounding though, hence why I have it. (and the ridiculous mid 60's home organ).
