I'm more Kevin Shields than you'll ever be! At least I slept with Bilinda (ok that parts in my head).chrisjedijane wrote: I'm kevin shields. really.
not really.
Alesis have a reverse reverb algorithm on a lot of their stuff - you can pick up a Nanoverb for about £60, and they're great - i tried one in the shop the other day and it was really nice. I was glide-guitaring the hell out of all the little metaller kids at high volume

The LAST thing I would do is try to provoke something. The last few threads were, IMHO, unnecessarily combative. I'm just saying you should both watch your tone.Tweez wrote: Quit trying to provoke something idiotbear, it's not abuse, I like the guy.
Even if it's just lads-together banter, it's not very inclusive.

well, my uncle used to hang out with Colm's brother, and met him a few times, so by association...
I once spoke on the phone to a guy called Steve who was in the very first incarnation of the band in Dublin, way before the tremolo arms arrived.
And i do a bloody great Dublin accent...

I really hate having to lock topics like this but if you guys can't manage to moderate yourselves, we'll all be happy to do it for you.

I agree....
no name-calling, people...well-intended in a jokey way or otherwise....all this is getting tiring.
