intermitent switch
i have an intermitent switch on a micro vibe. it's the DPDT 6 point PC Mount type. is there any way to get electronics cleaner spray in there or do you generally have to replace them? i tried to get the cap off the top of the switch but was not successful. any tips?

Re: intermitent switch
no way. Spray it with DeOxit.
Should clear it right up.

Re: intermitent switch
you'd be surprised. DeOxit is designed to creep down into anywhere. Just spray it directly on the outside of the switch at the area where it looks like it's most likely to be able to creep in through a seam or slight opening and cycle the switch a bunch of times. 99% of the time it will work down to where it needs to be. For instance, on a pot you can just take the knob off and spray the shaft. It will creep down the shaft into the pot onto the element.
