EHX Canyon is massively underrated. Bass player in my wedding band has one for home use, and when it was still working correctly it sounded immense, with maybe 3-4 different types I really love. Like all EHX pedals he's ever owned though, he managed to break it. He's literally the only guitarist I know who has managed to break literally 4-5 different variants of the Big Muff including the bass one... how is he doing this? Is his pedal power nuking them internally?

In general EHX pedals are built poorly.

I keep hearing that, but have never had one give out on me in over 30 years of using them, and I have a lot of their stuff. I guess I’m lucky?

Re: MXR Carbon Copy
Same, I've had several including the B9 and Lester G currently on my organ sim board for nearly 3 years now, and they do see a lot of gig and studio rehearsal time. Maybe they've lasted because I pack them away after use and don't stamp on the footswitches really hard when I'm using them. One of my few objections is that the little black markers on the knobs are easy to wear off, but that's pretty minimal and you can always Sharpie them back on.BoringPostcards wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 12:45 amI keep hearing that, but have never had one give out on me in over 30 years of using them, and I have a lot of their stuff. Re: MXR Carbon Copy
I had a recent DOD Rubberneck for a hot minute, and it was a really nice pedal.
But I will agree that, pound for pound, the MXR Carbon Copy is hard to beat.
