You ever get a new pedal and plug it in right away without reading the manual?
You ever record an 11+ minute video of what happened?
Well, I did...

While I love the sounds I got out of it, there's a certain irony that this was my first time using a new camera and, because I didn't read the manual, I ended-up with 720p resolution... oh well!

I personally feel that if you require a manual for your pedal, you're doing it wrong. Not to say that there aren't some fantastic pedals out there that are amazing regardless of the complexity, but for the most part a pedal shouldn't require much thinking.
The Slow Loris is one that is really quite intuitive. What's not so intuitive is discovering how differently it acts at the front of your chain verses later in your chain after dirt, etc. It reacts totally different.
