Told ya. Glad you like itGreenKnee wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 10:40 amMy BART finally arrived today! Parcel Force took ages to let me know the customs fees...
As soon as I plugged in and turned it on I literally said "Wow!" It sounds incredible. Easily the greatest fuzz I've ever played. The cleanup is unreal too. It's so good I'm actually now looking for a second Sun Face that I can use with the input control dead low as a low gain OD pedal, the sound out of it used as an overdrivenis ridiculous.
Cool Halloween art on the box is a bonus

Re: For fuzz sakes
And now I have a germanium low gain model on its way
£250 pretty good price, if I'm not feeling it I can easily move it on and get my money back

So the low gain germanium Sunface arrived yesterday. A much smoother fuzz sound than the BART and cleanup is great, probably a little better. I think I prefer the low gain/OD sound I can get out of the BART but it's really hard to say at sensible home volume, I really need to crank it at next practice to find out.
Practiced with the BART on Wednesday and it was just incredible. I didn't use any OD or other drive pedals because the BART and my volume control handled them all nicely. I'm not keen on wah and phase after fuzz though, so some rearranging and experimentation may be in order.
