Line 6 DL4 MkII
Well, this just dropped on my feed...
Sorry about the Rhet Skull content
Looks pretty good, and a long overdue refurb. Shittons of options and a load of secondary reverbs.

Re: Line 6 DL4 MkII
Old = Green Goblin
MKII = Baby Yoda!
The original was the first pedal I ever bought new and I really enjoyed it, but eventually switched it out for a RE-20... I'm not a gear cork sniffer (wine, tho!) but the old one did seem to be less "present" or "real" than having it out of the signal path, maybe the digital converters... Our drummer gave me his old DL4 (still with receipt). I played with it some, then put it away for a year. I took it out last fall and it was dead.
Neat to see that there's some MIDI implementation. Could be fun and useful. $419 worth of fun? Not sure.

I had an original years back and it was a lot of fun. I don't know that I'd get a Mk 2 as I'm less into multi-effects these days, but this is cool!!
Can't think of anyone better to demo it than Dave:

i feel him and nick from tera melos are the people who got the most out of the DL4. i had one and wasn't the biggest fan of it but i mainly just used it as a looper.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 10:06 amI had an original years back and it was a lot of fun. Re: Line 6 DL4 MkII
I’d moved on from the original (mainly due to size) and had thought about picking up another recently, this couldn’t have come at a better time!
Had a coupon for GC.com too so I managed to save a few bucks as well. Now to sit out in front of my mailbox for who knows how long…

Street price of $300 per TGP. Still a bit steep for me.

The Millimetric guitar was the most interesting thing in that video...johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 10:09 amYeah, that's way better that Rhet. Plus, he's using a MillimetricShadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 10:06 amCan't think of anyone better to demo it than Dave:

Re: Line 6 DL4 MkII
I'm not a MTB fan, but he did accurately showcase the abilities of the loop function (arguably one of the most used aspects of the pedal by many people) and the video was devoid of the usual YT guitarist tropes and word-vomit

Re: Line 6 DL4 MkII
I've used my original DL4 for, yes, 22 years.
This looks amazing.

Re: Line 6 DL4 MkII
Can anyone tell me how adjustable the dual delay is on the original and maybe this DL4?
Wanting something to create massive ambient walls of sound by turning the wet signal up and blending the delays similar to how I used to operate my time factor when I had it. I may just have to bite the bullet and get another one of those. Something about those eventides.
