Source Audio True Spring Reverb

Post by adamrobertt » Fri Jun 19, 2020 8:18 am

Anyone have one of these? I just got one to replace an EHX Oceans 11. This thing is insane. It sounds almost exactly like the reverb in my Deluxe Reverb. Having an independent mix, dwell, and level control is really amazing too. I'm currently pretty smitten with it.

That’s pretty cool, thanks for posting that.

I haven’t heard of it, but I haven’t been looking. I think the only SA pedal I have is their eq, the 120 or whatever. I like it for what it is, it’s very usable, has 4 presets & midi in. They seem to make some good stuff.

There doesn’t seem to be too many reverb pedals that do the real spring sound really well. A few, (like the Topanga) but not too many, from what I’ve read. Maybe that’s expanding lately.

It's a boost booster, to boost your boost - it makes your tone much muchier.

I have the Ventris. SA has by far the best digital spring sound I’ve heard by a long shot. Their other reverbs are good too, but the emulations of mechanical reverbs is on point.
