I've had an EQD Organizer for a while, which was bought for the purpose of being an octave pedal for ambient music a la Andy Othling. It's a great pedal, and I'm not getting rid of it, but I realized that for those ambient sounds I'd prefer the sounds I hear from POG users.
It seems as though the Pitch Fork covers quite a bit of the territory that the POG does, and more. Basically octave up, down, or both settings sound great to me on both pedals.
EHX is also about to release the Pitch Fork Plus which looks awesome, and seems to take it closer to the POG 2, but in a smaller enclosure. One thing I'd like to have is the detuned sound from the POG 2 that is almost like a chorus. I think the Pitch Fork detune does that fairly well from what I've heard.
So, those of you who've played both, which do you prefer? Any things that really stand out of either as essential or a favorite or yours?
