Points off for not making it thicker and countersinking for the screws though.

Definitely a neat idea, but it definitely needs to have countersunk screw holes. Unless you decided to put a rubber foot on it:

Yeah, it’s not perfect by any means, but it’s good to have if you don’t do your own metal work.

And it’s smart, since there are a lot of these pedals and many of them are well liked, and they have been out of production for years. A lot of people could probably use these about now, and it is better than some tape job or whatever to try to cover the back & battery compartment.
