Maxon OSD-9 / OOD-9

Has anyone tried either of the above? Or I guess by extension the Maxon OD-880 as it's the same circuit.

Are there any similarities to a DOD 250 or Distortion+ as they're based around the same LM741 op-amp? Or perhaps a little closer to a Tube Screamer kind of bass cut/mid push as the OD-880 seemed to be a precursor to the 808?

I'd have no intention of using them to push an amp, just for the dirt they can provide.
