After years of searching, I finally found an old and beat up Prunes & Custard.
Any experience with it? Besides the Jeff Tweedy association, any other players out there using these? I'm really interested in the filter-esque part of it, I think it's a very musical and inspiring sound but it can be misunderstood (and mis-used) too.
I think it's fair to say that the solo in Hell is Chrome by Wilco is the most representative use of the pedal (2:51). I mean, that filter!

Love this solo too.
The Datsuns actually wrote a song about it.

Never had any experience with it, but I was looking at getting one a few years ago. I read a lot of great stuff about the Hotcake with Vox amps, and read that the P&C was really great for bass and wanted to try it. And the Hotcake for guitar.
Never got around to trying or buying either one of those, there are just so many good pedals out nowdays...
