I've been trying find a good place to do research on on guitar pedals. I came across the website TheStompBox.com. It seems like a good resource, but I think it is dead.
First, anyone know of a good place to do research on guitar pedals? Type of circuit, offshoots and clones, etc.
Or, this might be a longer shot, anyone know who runs this website? There isn't even a contact page!
Personally, I think it would be interesting to see a site like this turned into a wiki.

Re: Guitar Effects Database
I found a website that has a really good database of guitar (really, instruments in general) effects. From pedals to rack mount to DAW plugins.
http://www.effectsdatabase.com
Downside is the navigation isn't very intuitive, partially due to it being too wide a topic to cover in an organized way. Also, the site is a bit cluttered with ads, but not the most cluttered I have ever seen.
