NPD Boss DC-2
I've been on the hunt for one of these for some time. I'm a Boss junky and have been luck enough to score most of my collection when prices were still low. I've always been a chorus fan and the DC-3 was actually my first chorus pedal. But even back in the 90's it was hard tracking one of these down for a good price. When Boss announced the DC-2w I was very excited but then I saw the price tag and figured I'd be more satisfied with continuing my search for the OG.
Well I can let you all know the hype is there for a reason! The DC-2 definitely offers something different that any other chorus I have played. The pedal ran in stereo is amazing!

I had one for a while and didn’t care for it. It was too steely and cold sounding for my taste. It’s definitely a distinctive sound though.

Those are really cool! I have always been interested in them but have never owned one.

I get the steely and cold comparison. I sort of agree but that's what I love about it. It's definitely not a swirly chrous. There's some space between the movement of it (if that makes any sense) that I really love.

i had the behringer clone. it was given to me by a notable glasgow osg member. i used it mainly as a studio tool. it sounded great. i ended up giving it to my friend's daughter who was learning bass and loved how it sounded. i never wanted money for it, i was more than happy to gift it on but she refused to take it for free. so i told her to give a few quid to the charity i worked for at the time. so £15 was what she gave for it. she's still using it today along with my old hofner violin bass clone and a 1 knob fuzz i built for her.
