Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water Issue

Post by Meme Library » Fri Oct 12, 2018 6:04 am

Anyone here have this pedal? Got it second hand in the mail a few days ago, and found out that the past owner messed with the Internal trim pots and jumpers. I'm trying to figure out how to reset it to factory settings. Anyone have any tips or ideas? Also, where should the boost and pad jumpers be set at default? Right now the high end on mine sounds so harsh, and I just wanna enjoy the pedal!

Thanks,

Meme

Fairfield Circuitry are really good at getting back to you with any issues you’re having. I’d suggest contacting them and asking for the settings.
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

I emailed em last night! No word yet, so I figured I might as well post here! Thanks so much :)

I figured I'd post here in the mean time. Sorry I asked a question about a pedal in a pedal subforum. ::)

A mini switch broke on my old Meet Maude because I dropped a chair on the pedal. I freaked out and emailed them about the situation. They quoted me a price for repair, I sent them the pedal, and they sent it back free of charge, evening paying for return shipping. I felt bad that they didn't charge me for the repair.

Give them a chance to respond and I have no doubt they will help you out. Might not be as lucky as myself as far as free repair, but they'll sort you out no problem whether you have to send it in or not.

Same here—I had a Four Eyes that needed repair and they fixed it no problem. I think I might have had to pay a little bit for the repair, but if I did it was a pretty minuscule amount. Nice peeps, great service. And always killer pedals :-*
