I just got Ibanez AD mini a week ago and thinking of selling my Maxon AD9 pro. Not as bright and wonderful on guitar, but way better with Juno and still great on guitar.

I love the AD mini. It's a real sleeper and a real value. I bought one for its small size and it might be my second-favorite delay now. It's just really really good.

You're right on the sleeper part. I always forget about them. Fairly accurate to the old ones? I don't know why I haven't thought about it, but that might be the perfect delay for my bass rig...

Honestly I'm not sure! All I know is that I like it. For all I know, I'd prefer it

Yeah the AD mini! I've been very curious to try one of those too based on what I've read and heard so far.

Not until you tell us how it sounds!

Okay. So first impressions: it is indeed, a pretty ‘refined’ sounding delay. I could not get mine to feedback; not sure if that is normal or not. I think the best analogy I can come up with is that the pedal is like a nice 1970s Porsche 911? (I have never drive one, but this is what I imagine) Handles well, refined, and classic. I am coming from having a Porsche Le Mans race car or something In the Moog 104M. It can do just about anything you could want a analog delay to do— so it’s a bit strange to be back in such a vintage classic.

Cool pedal. I did not try to ‘copy’ the Maxon sounds on the Moog, but I might give that a go. The AD-900 is really smooth. Better than the hazy recollection I have of the AD-9 I had for a bit.

You're using the AD900 on synth? :w00t:

The ADmini is really cool (I like it better than an AD9) but the AD900 is a step up (in warmth and clarity), albeit at 4x the footprint. I don't think it weighs any more, though.
