If it works like the Dwarfcraft Devices Twin Stags trem or the EQD Disaster Transport Sr., the first effected tremolo signal gets sent into the second one, for weird rhythmic patterns. Like the Catalinbread Echorec a bit too (with 2 or more heads selected). I think it would be very hard to use in a tight rhythm personally. They are cool as hell though.tele_pathic wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 8:52 pmNow, it is a dual tremolo, meaning there are two tremolos in it. It’s hard to describe: hit YouTube for some good demos. To be honest, though, I never use the second tremolo. I just can’t get the timing right for the second one.

I’m shocked no one has mentioned the Fulltone Supa Trem 2. One channel was not functioning but they fixed it free of charge.

Just fixed up a broken Marshall VT-1 Vibratrem, these things are great. has triangle to square sweepable waveform, stereo operation, a surprisingly wide range LFO and a vib mode that is hands down my favorite vibrato and probably the only one I have been able to find real use for. Only real fault this pedal has is that it gives a slight boost when engaged, that will be easy enough to remedy, and it is not really strong enough to really be an issue, just need to pick slightly lighter when you step on it. Tap would be nice, but eh, does not really bother me.
These things are cheap and built like a tank, nice form factor, and a stomp switch that can be operated barefoot, well worth giving them a try.

Logic gates based on billiard-ball computer designs have also been made to operate using live soldier crabs of the species Mictyris guinotae in place of the billiard balls.

What the hell is a triangle wave?! In between sine and square? More like a spike of volume rather than an even “in / out?”

Yep, just more aggressive than a sine, but not on/off like a square.

A sine wave will have a slow transition as it switches from going up to going down and down to up, while rising or falling it will be quick.
A triangle wave will be quick when transitioning from up to down and down to up but slow when rising or falling.
Aggressiveness tends to be a function of your depth and speed settings, they both can be aggressive or smooth and subtle, and what tends to be aggressive for a sine is subtle for a triangle and vice versa.

To update on the VT-1, it is really fun, the vibrato is a Magnatone type vibrato, pretty much a two stage phaser with no feedback, in stereo it is one stage for each channel so more subtle. I am really loving this pedal, can not believe how little love there is for this thing.

I have owned a Diamond Tremolo for years. Its not on my board right now.
But I can't / won't sell it to fund any pedal purchases.
The tap tempo and variety of waves, makes it worth keeping.

Anyone know of a tremolo that has attack and decay knobs? Not the Malekko Sneak Attach though, something that's meant to be a tremolo first and foremost. Plus, I've got a Sneak Attack and might be getting rid of it.

Re: What are some good Trem pedals these days?
I thought I had posted on here already, but apparently I haven't. I would also endorse this tremolo, since I have 2 of them. It's really pretty awesome, but not that small.
The Supatrem has a speed knob, and a tap tempo switch, and if you hold the tap tempo switch, it will double either the tap tempo time or the knob set time (whichever you're using), and holding it again brings it back to the original time setting. It also has a switch that makes it sine, square or warble. And speaking of the PN-2, the Supatrem becomes a true stereo pan instead of just a trem, when you use 2 chains, not just 2 summed outputs. Not saying that's what the PN-2 does, I don't know, but this one is true stereo.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 6:59 pmI'm the same. My trem is almost always on, and I've never felt the need for tap tempo personally. I do think have a footswitch that alternates between two speeds would be cool as hell though. I'm not a huge fan of the placement of the footswitches, but that's why I've had this hankering for one of The Big Chill trems from Jam Pedals. That thing sounds really good.marqueemoon wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 6:33 pmI don’t really care about tap tempo on a tremolo to be honest, but it’s a thing people seem to want.
It's not cheap, but it does just about all that I can think of that I'd want out of a tremolo pedal.
So don't anybody say anything cool that this one doesn't do, so that I have to start looking around at other things.

It's a boost booster, to boost your boost - it makes your tone much muchier.

Re: What are some good Trem pedals these days?
I know it gets some flack on guitar forums but the Boss Slicer is a lot of fun.
When I want a more basic tremolo sound I have a VHT Melo-verb that I pair with a Wave Canon for a Vox like sound.
Recently I got an EHX Oceans 11 and the tremolo in that is really nice, does both triangle and square
The Kaden effects Fluttertone was one of my faves but it got stolen from me years ago.

I am a long time user of a Diamond Tremolo.
Over 10 years, and no issues at all.
Tap tempo, clean boost when needed and has some great variations.
Its expensive but worth it.
