yes there are really expensive with the vox label ,DAM and Vox reissue them for stupid amount of money
the circuit is really simple 2 trannys ,3 condensator ,4 resistors, the harder is too find old SFT 363 and SFT337 (i don't remember well but it is a low gain Standard PNP in fact
the 2 came from the same manufacture (jen in italy ) some were sale by vox in england (officially with vox marking) and jen sale some (less official with jen marking) (like some guitars actually sale for a brand and the manufacture sale them rebranded too
seriously even they are cool fuzz and represent some history i will not buy this 700 € for less than 30 € i made mine
experts plz tell me about this old Vox Tone Bender + GUT SHOTS

It's true, old fuzz costs way too much, especially since they're not the meticulously fine tuned works of art that come from the hands of DAM/Castledine/Jerms. They can be really variable in quality, and then you've got a very very expensive old metal box with some drifted/worn out components.
I say this with sour grapes coz I've never had a cool vintage fuzz but I really love old school fuzz tones!

I am a bit of a fuzz addict. Sometimes that is true, but I have many nice vintage fuzzes that sound better than the DAM/ Castledine/ Pigdog/ Jerms remakes.MechaBulletBill wrote: ↑Fri Aug 03, 2018 9:30 amIt's true, old fuzz costs way too much, especially since they're not the meticulously fine tuned works of art that come from the hands of DAM/Castledine/Jerms. I think the vintage pedals are worth every penny. The enclosures alone are usually way cooler than any remake.
This vox tone bender looks great! Good deal, and I'm sure it sounds excellent. I like the vox version going into a distorted amp as well... preferably a vox amp.
