What is the pedal you've chased the longest?

Everyone needs a stompbox.

Goddamn!!!! :o :o :o

Talk about an amazing collection!! Do you have a favourite one? :)
That's just all the old ones I have. I actually just bought another Red Llama, which is my favourite way huge and dirt pedal ever.
I have all the new ones as well.

CRAZY Way Huge collection! :wtf:

Image

I've seen that pic so many times, and it's just a crazy collection, he even has a Tegu which is a one off thing. The first Angry Trolls came in that swirl paint as well, but in a 1590b sized box. Saw on of them on ebay not too long ago, but didn't pull the trigger on it, it was like 550 pounds
Those Echo Clones where left over Aqua Puss PCBs, that MusicToyz had put in boxes and sold.

It really is an epic photo! :?

I remember when MusicToyz used to sell those clones...I was a bit sceptical, but it looks like they really were leftover Aqua Puss PCBs...I should have bought one when I had the chance! :fp:

I've seen a few Aqua Puss' around and in person. Did they reissue some of the Way Huge stuff?

Oh yes...there are "MKII" versions of the Aqua Puss, Red Llama, Green Rhino, Swollen Pickle, Blue Hippo, Camel Toe...

I've only seen a Green Rhino MKII in person and in sounded great! :)

Always wanted an original Boss VB-2, every year the prices would go up and up and it never made financial sense. I just picked up the Waza version last year and I love it. NO longer GAS-ing for an original but I definitely still look from time to time.
This was mine for years too but I finally did spend £180 on one when it popped up on Harmony Central one night. Felt pretty lucky as the EU trade thread was never the busiest and that wasn't a dreadful price in 2008.

Sold it a couple of years ago for the same. Lovely pedal, but for what I wanted the MiniFooger Chorus is more versatile and less likely to die. I do miss that gorgeous shade of blue though.

That's interesting. I wonder if all the MKII's sound as good as the originals, or just good in general.

Hard to say...I think some probably sound very close...although pedals like the Swollen Pickle have extra controls added for more versatility :)

Actually they're up to MK IV on the Green Rhinos, and the Aqua Puss' just came in a new smaller enclosure, and so did the Hippo.

I love the little small ones they brought out for sure!

I had no idea the Green Rhino had had so many updates...I thought it was just MKI and MKII. Cool info! :)

Is this your photo, by the way?

Sadly no, I'd love that custom coloured Foot Pig.

I think the pedal I thought about longest was something that kind of bridged the gap between the fat sound of a ge fuzz face and the snarly buzz of a fuzzrite. I worked out that I probably wanted something that was aiming at the italian tonebender sound and had major GAS for a castledine pazuzu. Then I found a Mostratono from Creepy Fingers (probably my favourite fuzz builder) and it's everything I want from a fuzz right now.

It took me 16 years to finally get ahold of a Lovetone ?.... and it was worth the wait!

YeH, that was their swan song. I might have been tempted to chase one down; I was a bit when they first came out, but decided my A/DA covered my flange needs and they are bloody rare, so my Ring Stinger is enough.
