Reliable options for guitar/patch cables in uk

Post by SadFuzz » Tue Mar 13, 2018 2:39 am

I've been looking at Spectraflex cables recently thinking they would be a solid cable I wouldn't have to replace much. But I can seem to find somewhere that stocks them in the uk. Are there other reliable cables that are more readily available? Or have I missed something?

I have a load of hosa leads, which you can still get from cablestop on ebay. I'd like to make my own but it doesn't seem very cost effective coz nowhere sells decent jacks cheaply.

If you can solder, they're not tricky to make. For the last few years I've been using about 50m of Sommer Spirit cable I bought and Hiconn pancake plugs for patch cables, Neutrik somethingorother for guitar cables.

The advantage is that they're always the right size and orientation.

I really need to order more pancake plugs...
