Everyone needs a stompbox.

I learned that I kind of want a pedal called "The Bends" but I don't want a compressor.

That compressor sounds pretty darn good in the demo imho. Haven't listened to the others yet.

This is my biggest beef with the effort.

They could at least have used top mounted jacks

I think most demos sounded really nice and the prices are really reasonable. With those prices I could see people buying these things quite a lot, but time will show..

They sound pretty good, but like many have said, so do many other pedals in the world. I do like the unique knobs though. I don't really think these will be a hit, but who knows. Nothing wrong with more options.

The Mirror Image Delay looks quite nice. Also Andy has already done a great demo of it!
I like the versatility of it and the anodized aluminium chassis.
Also 126€ at Thomann make it seem worth a try - with the 30 days money back...
I'm really thinking about getting this one and the Ibanez Echo Shifter - and try both to find out what suits me best...

I'm actually quite surprised by how few pedals Fender has put out over the years. For a huge company with all manner of guitar gear and more experience than anyone in designing preamps (well, amps, but the preamps are the relevant part here), they've only put out the occasional oddity like the Blender, the Volume Tone, and Multi-Echo, that run of rebranded pedals in the 80's they had no hand in designing, and the digital Mustang Floor.

This seemed overdue.

Tried the distortion and overdrive this weekend. Really like the features on both, particularly the fact you can run the two drive sections in series on the distortion and that the boost switch on the overdrive is assignable to either level or gain. However, the over all sounds left me a little cold. Perfectly usable sounds, and plenty of variation in both, just not to my taste. Other than that the LEDS on the knobs are a nice touch and the overall build is very good, even if they do look like 80's Christmas baubles.

Purchased the reverb last week, sounded great, obvioulsy heavily based on the Bluesky... BUT, as soon as I put more volume into it from other pedals, it started to digitaly distort so sent it back... Such a shame, really liked it otherwise :fp:

Considering Fender's history with reverb and how relatively good the Boss FRV-1 sounded, that is incredibly shameful.
