Using Effects In Weird Ways

The Lovetone RingStinger can do that (psuedo-thermin) trick with ease. It's actually one of the selling points and one of the reasons I got it. I usually use an expression pedal, but they come with a photosensitive adapter that you can wave your hand or foot over to get pretty close to the quaver of a real theremin. The expression pedal I can't work fast enough for more than a few seconds, but that's all I need it for.
