Momentary chaos switch

Yesterday afternoon dwarfcraft devices sold a super soda miser in their online shop. It was for sale for less then 30 minutes and it sold. :/

Question: what other pedal designs are out there which have a similar chaos switch?

I already know about Devi Evers stuff.

I'm looking for anything else out there along the lines of the dwarf craft design..

Thanks!

Maybe consider a feedback loop. This'll do pretty chaotic stuff with any pedal.

It's just a regular latching switch and I'm not sure if they even make it anymore, but I think the Total Sonic Annihilation by Death By Audio does pretty crazy feedback stuff when you put a bunch of pedals in front of it and play with the knobs as it's turned on.

Indeed! I used to create feedback loops with my old deluxe memory boy pedal but heard it eventually destroyes the pedal.. anyway THIS is just the thing I'm after and the price ($69) is great:

http://saturnworkspedals.com/product/fe" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... y+Feedback

"The deluxe momentary feedback looper features both options, both a latching switch to turn the loop on and a momentary switch, which only produces feedback while being held down. Releasing the momentary feedback switch tames the switch into a normal true bypass looper. "

And I'm probably going to finally pick up an Fairfield Circuitry The Unpleasant Suprise.

My Caroline Kilobyte has a chaos switch (feedback) which is epic. There are a couple out there that do it as wel. I find it useful, especially on a delay.

This thread put me in mind of a friend of mine that likes similar things. He also builds and sells a Fuzz pedal that I really like:

That EVA Fuzz pedal gets slightly more crazy sounding towards the end of that video.

Also, and more in keeping with the original post, if you want to hear some crazier sounding stuff, he's working on a glitch delay pedal called the Atom Smasher:

The only EHX pedal that hasn't died on me was a Kill Switch.
I put a few pedals set on retard-mode in the FX loop when I need some seconds of craziness.

Update: I picked up the Fairfield Circuitry Unpleasant Surprise I've been obsessing over and it turns out it is, by itself, the chaos switch I've been looking for. Super stoked.

The EHX Echoflanger/Polychorus can get absolutely brutal with the Flanger setting, feedback up and sweep filter off. Plug in a light guitar with high-output unpotted pickups and a Foxx Tone Machine (or clone) and you'll be lucky if your fillings don't fall out.
