Update: I bought a POD HD500X for pretty cheap.
It'll let me sell just a few of my pedals and keep the rest in case I don't get on with it. Quite excited to find out I bit off more than I can chew with all the changeable parameters...!

+1 for the Helix... amazing pice of kit for playing, practice, recording.
I'm sure valve snobs can tell the different... but I can't and I don't miss the constant gear swapping!
