Carbon Copy Deluxe

Post by justsomeguy » Sun Jul 23, 2017 5:17 pm

as you guys may have seen, MXR is going to be releasing the carbon copy deluxe soon. Reverb.com has a demo of it here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAwmYauiHx0
i am a big fan of my carbon copy so im most likely going to upgrade to this when it comes up. What are your guys thoughts on this? apparently it will have presets and can be used with an expression pedal but i dont think anyone has explained how this will work yet. anyone who has found info on this please post it here

I think it's this video that demos how the preset works. I think it's like the Strymon Favourite switch concept works.

The Carbon Copy Deluxe sounds great. It'd be superb for having one setting for slapback and one for longer delay and just being able to switch between them. Or standard delay and 100% wet "post-rock" delay etc.

What are the differences?

For now, I'm content with my DMB. It's been a stable on my board.
