Jazzmaster + compression = good times

Jammed with a friend tonight and pulled out the ol' Tone Press. I rarely play "lead" guitar, so it was pretty fun. A little tremolo action + comp can really keep notes going, and to my ears the compressor is a good match for the natural sound of a JM. You just get more of that nice plonk.

i've been quite surprised at how good the TC Electronic HyperGravity sounds in demos.
you can easily hear every time that it's on...

I usually go for a pretty subtle setting. It's very flattering to lipstick pickups as well.

Super squashed can be fun sometimes.

It's like good acting or good editing. Magical but ,I don't want to know that shit is on.
