Trick For Delay Trick

I found this a few months back and thought it was really cool. I'd been wanting to try it, but I didn't have any stereo delays or reverbs. I've been trying to finish my bass board and now I do!! I still haven't tried it yet, but the idea of being able to use this live, without having to bend down to move and add pedal cables around, was gnawing at me for some reason.

I had some free time at work last night and came up with this:

I used an A-B to switch between the mono and stereo inputs, and was close, but couldn't quite figure out how to get the jumper between the stereo output and mono input. Then it hit me! A variation on a series-parallel switch in a guitar. For the diagram, I drew it as 2 DPDT switches, BUT, it would need to be a 4PDT (unless you want to switch them both simultaneously). I'm gonna make one for my bass board delay I think. You could wire it with a toggle, but if you use a 4PDT footswitch, you could have a normal/crazy mode footswitchable! And it's passive too: needs no power!

Just thought you delay and reverb fiends (like myself!) might dig this for the hell of it.

I haven't built it as a box yet, but I did try it with my Mooer Reecho Pro. Maybe it's the DSP platform, but it didn't do anything on the Mooer. I know it CAN sound different, a la that TC Electronic video, but not on mine. That's ok though! I honestly was thinking about it from a more analog perspective, even knowing that I don't have an analog stereo delay. I thought the idea was too cool to keep to myself :)
