Re: Reverb For Bass Rig
It seems to be rig dependent and only does one thing-Fender style spring reverb-so lots of love/hate reviews, but it has top jacks and just one knob!
The J Rockett Boing reverb pedal.

Re: Reverb For Bass Rig
Again, thanks to everyone for the recommendations!
I still have to try these suggestions out in person (also, have to finish the bass build too, haha), but from the demos I've listened to I've found a few that really stand out for me:
Boss RV (3/5/6 not sure)
TC Electronic Skysurfer ($60!)
Mooer Shimverb (also cheap!)
J Rockett Bing
I almost want to throw a Dr. Scientist Reverberator into the mix as well, but I feel like it's way more than I'd need and a bit on the expensive side. As a related side note here: my bass rig may also double as my "gigging" guitar board (assuming I ever jam with real people), so that throws the Reverberator into a better light as I'd use it for guitar a bit too possibly.
I know some people really love their EQD Dispatch Masters, but how is the reverb side on it? Watching some bass demos with reverb, I'm thinking I'd really like to have something that does both long and short reverbs (spring and hall?) to experiment with different sounds.

When I was playing bass more often I really liked the red panda context. Out of your price range, but I think something like that is much better than the reverberator.

Re: Reverb For Bass Rig
Actually it isn't out of my price range, but seeing how it will mainly be a bass board, it's more features than I want, and bigger than I want. Plus, my main guitar board has one and I'm trying not to have the same pedals on both boards. Easily my favorite reverb though. Context is SO good. IMO the best reverb pedal there is, just blows every other reverb I've had out of the water.

Re: Reverb For Bass Rig
I had a 20% sale coupon from Prymaxe, and I bought a Mooer Shimverb. I'm gonna see how it is as $74 isn't a huge deal (and nobody carries them). It's the cheapest of all the options I like, but it also has the 3 exact modes I'd want. Fingers crossed!

Re: Reverb For Bass Rig
It may be way too pricey, but I recently tried the Industrialelectric RM-1N through one of my bass amps (Traynor TS-25B), and it sounded really good. Distortion on tap, too, and oscillation and drone if you want.
I haven't tried the bass settings on the Zoom MS70CDR yet, but I bet that's pretty good for the price.

It's a boost booster, to boost your boost - it makes your tone much muchier.
