NPD: vintage ibanez
My dad went to a yard sale this morning, I told him if he ever finds any guitar gear to grab it. So, he picked me up a ue-300. I asked how much he paid... He told me $10.
I was ecstatic! I paid $150 for my last one and sold it for $250.

What is acoustic? Oh, you means a grandpa's guitars? A grandpa's guitars? That's for pussies and grandpas. I think you know it.

Awesome score.
I've always kind of wanted one, for no real reason, but they're getting up there in price. I'm not sure I love any of the three effects enough to have them permanently linked, but I like the idea of it! Maybe there are some clips on youtube to GAS over...

Awesome. I love the old UE stuff.
The UE300 supposedly has a real-deal TS9 circuit in there, which made them a bit collectible. Simple and the effects all sound great.
I had a UE305 and really liked it. The delay did sound different than the UE405 racks.
I think the floor units are all 9-series while the racks can be either 9 or x0x series (or maybe only x0x).

I've always wished they had put the TS and delay on the same unit, but alas...they did not.I had a UE305 and really liked it. The delay did sound different than the UE405 racks.

whoops. Right. It's the 808 circuit. Run the chorus in stereo if you haven't yet. Worth the extra hassle (if you like chorus).
(I stopped tubescreamer spotting after flipping a ts808 for $450 back in the '00s sometime, back when that was enough to cover rent).
I also wanted a rack one with delay and overdrive but have since come to love the phaser on there, too. My main effects rig is UE400/UE405. With maybe a pedal here or there, but it covers a lot of ground (if with some stuff I rarely use: EQ, second compressor, etc) And those old ibanez effects all sound really great.

So my dad's killing it at yard sales. He just grabbed me a boss rc-20xl for $70 and 2 Ernie ball stereo vol/pan pedals for $10 each.
