mini tremolo pedals with adjustable level
I'm in the market for a new compact trem and would like a level/gain control. Straight optical trem sound is preferred.
The Malekko Omicron Trem (internal trimpot) and Ko Amps 10 Cent Trem are the current front runners.
Any other suggestions?

Even MXR sized would be pushing it I think. This would be pedal #6 on a Pedaltrain Nano +.budda12ax7 wrote:Look up the bad cat trem.....two speeds, MXR sized box
I believe this has an internal trimpot, so it's on the list now too.

Or I could take a crack at building the kit myself I suppose, but it's not that much more to buy prebuilt.

Picked up a Malekko on CL (original barcode graphic version). Honestly I think the BYOC is a better pedal, but I'm confident I can unload this one at pretty close to what I paid if it doesn't work out.
I don't love that the pots are soldered to the board, but otherwise it seems fine.

Tremolo is my favorite effect, so I'm interested
Just a few I found online, but I've never played any, though I will say that I've been impressed with the Mooer stuff. They seem to pack a decent amount of knobs onto a tiny pedal. Just looking for the size you're looking for.

I sold my Mooer Spark because it didn't work that well with my setup due to the lack of level control. It was otherwise pretty nice.

Tremolos without a level control don't work. It looks both of the Mooer pedals I posted here didn't either. It's too bad you don't have the space for it. I have an EQD Hummingbird V3 and it's SO good.marqueemoon wrote:I sold my Mooer Spark because it didn't work that well with my setup due to the lack of level control. It was otherwise pretty nice.

Yeah. I had to learn that the hard way I guess. Hopefully the Malekko works out and I don't destroy it.Shadoweclipse13 wrote:Tremolos without a level control don't work. Maybe the Boss FDR-1 Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb-Amp pedal? It has volume, gain, two band EQ, reverb in addition to tremolo (mislabeled as Vibrato of course). It also has a tap tempo feature for the tremolo.

The Valeton Wave Shaker is a pretty decent tremolo and it has a level control.
