"Sometimes" fuzz sound

Really love the textures on this song. Anyone know pedals that can get into the ballpark?

Only if you'll share the $500 reverb voucher with me ;)

Haha I saw that vid.
Thought it was an actual Mac potent pairings. Bit of a cop out if you ask me.

I know what you mean. I like the idea of opening it out to people though. I've been trying stuff out, but can't really get close. So much of it was the production.

Also the tunings/chords. I love the melodies and chords in mbv songs. IMHO more important than the pedals, even if I am being hypocritical here.

I would put my money on a Roger Mayer Axis fuzz into a Vox AC-30, possibly boosted by a RAT or Roger Mayer Mongoose fuzz.

Yeah I read he stacked an Octavia and an Axis in studio.

He uses a Vorg Warp Sound to play it live. I *believe* the tuning is DADAAD.
