adding a 210 bass cab...any reccomendations?

Post by sonik » Sun Sep 30, 2007 6:38 pm

I play a Bass VI-thing (Jag Baritone and Gretsch Jet Baritone) in my two bands, and I've been using an Eden WT-405 with an Eden 210XST.  The Eden cab gives really great highs and low end that makes the baritones convincing in the bass role.  I'm pretty happy with my rig!  But sometimes it's just a tiny bit not loud enough, and with some destructive effects (like the MXR blue box and using the bass boost on the head), I've blown one speaker.

I love the Eden stuff, but I don't want to pay for another Eden cab right now. So I'm looking for a cheap bass 210 (or 212, or ever 1x15...maybe) that will:
*not be overly muddy
*be tough
*cost $300 or less (used is fine)

I know the price point is pretty rough, but does anybody have any reccomendations?

Avatar cabs are very popular budget bass cabs
