Which model 4x10 is it? 1965A? 1965B? Something else?

You obviously need to buy a bassman or something put into that marshall. I don't suggest you get the pro jr for serious sounds, although it doesn't sound bad.

Sounds like you need a Mentos.

haha. well, i decided not to go with the pro jr. basically i may have a chance of trading my marshall straight up for a fender super reverb. yeah. from 1994. does anyone have any info on these?

i played one similar to this at a guitar shop in santa cruz and i wanted one bad. if this deal goes through, i may shit myself.

There's a guy on the FDP selling a 1965a cab for $325, just to give you some idea of the current value. I've seen others go for around the same money. Mine has the light-colored grille cloth which I think looks fab, and it's a light cab as well. I think a Pro Jr. might be undercutting yourself a bit financially - a Super Reverb would be a better grab.

yeah i agree. dont you think a super reverb is a little out of my league for a straight up trade? i mean, if this guy is down im all for it, i would love to own that beautiful amp, but i dunno. i feel like us 1965 owners are getting the shaft on how much these things are valued at anyway. i mean, a marshall 4x10? lighter than a 4x12? with 4 celestion gt35 (amazing sounding speakers)? i feel like its kind of a joke the value of these cabs.

oh well, if it lands me a super, there will be no complaining from here!!!

Did you say that the Super Reverb was from 1994? That should be nice!

I didn't get them there - those are from the Fender Field Guide:

http://www.ampwares.com/ffg

I suspect the Craig's List seller pulled the same ones.

a Super is worth way more than a Cab, be careful though things that sound to good to be true are!

gah i knew it was too good to be true. he pulled out. wah wah.

if i could just sell this cab i could have enough cash to buy it outright, but dammit no one wants these anymore. except for the dude with the pro jr.
