Yes, if there was one thing I never understood is why this amp didn't really attempt to compete with the market.
I'll be curious to demo the amp, though.

Hopefully, Fender will continue the trend and reissue the Vibrolux Reverb--perhaps a brown amp or two as well.

The nice thing about recording with these amps is they are really made to be miked. That six inch speaker on the Champ will do fine with a mike in front of it I think. The tweed is sweet tho. I've got a p2p deluxe clone that's just awesome. I think I have 900 in it, with the chassis, tubes, cab and speaker.
