amp trade that is now a pain in my .....

Post by skip » Sun Feb 01, 2009 3:48 pm

ass---
i have done trades for guitars, pedals, all kinds of stuff without the slightest problem
so i guess the odds finally caught up with me

on saturday i traded an amp to a guy for a cab and a valve junior head
on sunday i get an email, he says it is broken and won't power up at all----- damn damn damn
it is a crate tube amp and has a 5yr warranty-- so now i have to get ahold of crate and deal with getting it repaired for the guy
so i gotta take it in and all that crap

oh well, i guess i will try to stay positive
I'm glad there are a lot of guitar players pursuing technique as diligently as they possibly can, it leaves this whole other area open to people like me.

I remember those 1990s Crate amps, they would often seem to break, but usually it was something really stupid like the cable to the internal speaker being disconnected.
