Fender Showmen....holy Geez!
Check out these guys and their Showmen, or I guess I should say Dual Showman, I guess I have'nt ever seen two of these bad boys on the same stage before. You could take somebodies head off with one of these!

Thanks for posting that! Showman's are really great amps. I've never played through a '60s one but used to own a red knob Dual Showman from the '80s. The sound was all around huge and the overdrive sounded great! I miss that amp

Thanks for the replies! I was just really impressed with how massive those cabs looked loaded with two fifteens, awesome! Typical Jag comments on youtube, guy is obviously a heathen.

sweet ass amps
I'm glad there are a lot of guitar players pursuing technique as diligently as they possibly can, it leaves this whole other area open to people like me.

Ha, the mighty showman...What an amp...such power, such headroom...and it loves Jazzmasters, Jaguars and most other guitars.
I love my "66 BF Single showman a lot. Was my main amp for years in the Surf-Bands I used to play.
The lead guitarist used a 2x15 Jensen loaded Dual Showman and the Bass VI player had a SF Dual Showman with the huge 2x15" JBL cab....
We sounded HUGE live...Blew all the Punk bands far away Rippin it with our Reverb tanks, Jazzmasters, Jaguars and Bass VI.....
I surely do mis those days...
We used to grin when playing outdoors and there was no PA...most other bands were like...What, no PA...Who's gonna hear my guitar then???
We said, nice...We'll just turn up the volume then, right??

They're fantastic amps indeed!!
...a bit of a pain to carry around, though, as they are big and heavy... but their sound is worth the trouble!!
Here's mine:

I have to say, as cool as they look, I cant imagine lugging one of those 2x15 cabs around! Years ago I had a Peavey combo with a single 15 and it damn near killed me to cart it around! Turned out to be one of those "seemed like a good idea at the time" type of deals
