New Cab Day!

Post by chrisjedijane » Thu Oct 09, 2008 3:14 am

You may remember that I bought a new amp head a couple of weeks ago: A 18w Marshall-type kit with just a treble and volume:

Well, I finally got the cash together to get a cab to go with it! I don't know a huge amount about the cab, all I know is that it's 2x12, 120w into 8 ohms, and is built into a flightcase with wheels on the side. This thing is built like a tank!!!

here's the cab (with its twin and previous owner!):

It's the silver and red one - doesn't it look great? I'll take pics of my setup later on :)

Yeah, the cab sounds great. It doesn't just come with a road case, it's actually built into the case (i.e., you can't remove it).

Cool!

Looks good with both your head and the Orange.

Yeah, it sounds great! I don't know how I'm gonna run it just yet - at house levels the clean tone is great, and it starts to drive shortly after that. I might use it with a booster or something, I'll try some stuff out in the practice room and report back!
