Hey everybody,
I'm having trouble finding any info on these amps. My buddy wants to sell me his, which has been in the attic
for 10 years or so. Probably early 90's amp. I'm not in need of an amp right now, but he only wants $300 or so for it
and it might be too good to pass up. I haven't been able to get out to his place to try it out, but there isn't any rush.
I don't think he'll put it on ebay or CL.. Anybody used one or heard one?
Thanks
Anybody know about Marshall JTM30 2X10's ?

Re: Anybody know about Marshall JTM30 2X10's ?
I've seen a 60 watt 4x10 before.
It was pretty cool, not in much demand though.
"JTM310, 30W 2x10" combo
This amp was in production from 1994 to 1997. It used three ECC83's and two Sovtek 5881 tubes. It offered 2 footswitchable channels with a shared EQ section, a spring reverb, a series FX loop and a Speaker Emulated output.
This amp does not have a bias pot, and you'll have a hard time fitting EL34's in the tube cage.
These amps were fitted with two Marshall Heritage Eminence LE10-508 8Ω speakers connected in series."
found this somewheres

Didn't those (or other amps in the same series) have a reputation for overheating? I seem to recall reading somewhere that people added computer case fans to try and dissipate the heat a bit.

Thanks, not sure if I'll need it, though. I'm very happy with the AC15 I just got, but just wanted to know if the Marshall was a great ampOrang Goreng wrote: Here's a pdf of the manual:

or just an okay one. Supposedly it has a great clean tone, but who knows?
