NAD: it's no JC-120, but...

The JC-120 thread got me thinking about how much I want a JC-120, but there's just no way I could justify that kind of purchase right now. I went on Craigslist to try and satisfy the craving with a bit of window shopping, but ended up seeing a Crate G-212 2x12 for $60. One of the older ones with the gray knobs. I used to have a Crate XT-120R that I liked a lot (loud, good transparent cleans) and I currently have a smaller Crate GX30M with built in chorus and reverb that I use as a drum machine amp.

Anyway, pulled the trigger this morning. Bought it from an older guy who seemed really happy to pass it along. Aside from some scratchy pots it sounds great. LOUD!! I'm satisfied. It may not be the sexiest rig on the block, and it's no JC-120, but it'll get me where I'm trying to go.
