I got these cabinets off of Craigslist thanks to forum member help. I am going to put some Alnico Blue Vox speakers in them. I am excited to see how they go with my little Peavey head. I will add more progress pictures in the process.

What Peavey head is it?

Peavey VSS20. Good power level, three band eq and two 8ohm speaker outs.

Ah. Looks like that head was originally for a mini stack setup, and being 90’s (?) Peavey the snakeskin look seems appropriate.

I have the same amp, it's great. The stereo chorus is killer. Does the JC120 thing pretty convincingly.

The Vox Alnico Blue speakers came in. I got them put in but I am missing the mounting screws. Insides of the cabinets looked nice and tidy. Glad to see plywood vs MDF.

Damn those speakers are pretty.

Where do those Vox Alnico Blue Speakers come from? Are they Celestions? Vintage? Or?

I think these were from a 90's AC15.

I wonder if they were made for Vox by Celestion? Because they sure look like Celestion Alnico Blues..

Never know. I don’t see anything other than vox on them though.

Interesting. I’ve been playing Vox Amps for years.. I’ve never seen Spkrs like that.. Take a look at the Celestion Alnico Blue Spkrs.. Either yours were made for Vox by Celestion or they’re pretty accurate looking Clones.. At least visually..

I was not aware of these Vox Blues.. Interesting though..

My Vox AC15CC1X has a made in UK Celestion Alnico Blue Spkr. & they do sound great..

I’m sure the OP’s will sound great too!
