Are you talking about the early 80's Bassman 20 combo? If so, I would utterly love to get hold of one of those - and have been looking for a long, long time. They don't seem to exist here in the UK and no-one wants to ship one overseas

Also, I realised today that I'm an idiot. I have two bass preamp pedals here (a Tronographic Rusty Box and a Tony Balls-build BF Bassman-in-a-box pedal) AND one of those EHX Magnum things somewhere so I could just find a small 1x10 bass cab and run that

I know, right? That's the issue with having gear stashed away everywhere.
Before covid I cleared out the attic and found several guitars I forgot I owned. Cleared out the garage and found 16 guitar and bass cabs (I thought I had 8-10).
I have issues.

Yep that's the one. There seem to be quite a few here in Aus, which is rather unhelpful for you (shipping would be several hundred pounds at a guess).

+1 for Ampeg Micro VR. Bought mine used some ten years ago, and while it doesn't have enough power for full-on rock band rehearsal on its own, it shines nearly everywhere else. You can always connect them to the PA to use them with more power, of course. Only qualm I have is the cooler being somewhat noisy. It also seems prone to a sort of humming, but that might be my cables (or it might be the cab input jacks but being top shelf quality).
Many bands use them, live or for radio gigs, e.g. KEXP concerts.
