New cab or speaker replacement for Orange Micro Terror cab?

I have a Micro Dark sitting atop the Micro Terror cab(not the one that's meant to be paired with it, but I figured they'd be identical - may have been mistaken). I was thinking of getting a larger 1x10 or 1x12, but given I'm using this as a practice amp, I wonder would it be worth trying to find a very bassy 8" speaker to swap in?

I have it also and I use a laney cub cab I got b stock for pretty cheap. It works fine with that. I would suggest just looking at whatever small cabs are inexpensive. Personally I would look for b stock or used. Since you're only using it for practice, you don't need to overspend.

yeah, I sort of need a balance between actually sounding heavy and not being too loud/big which is kind of difficult. i was worried as to how some of the cheaper cabs would sound with it since it's a metal type amp but i'll keep an eye out for the laney cubs
