The definition of clean! And loud! The enormous 15 inch speaker and the wider, taller and deeper cabinet makes this sound huge. My CS Jazzmaster and I have never been so happy.
Surf's up!

Gorgeous!
I feel like 15" speakers are underrated for guitar.
(I also feel like 10" speakers are overrated, but that's probably because I don't have a Super Reverb or Tweed Bassman)

Very cool!! I've always liked the 1x15 "Twins" more than the 2x12s. I would totally buy this amp if volume wasn't a consideration. I will never have an excuse to own a 100 watt tube amp, though.

Damn, that’s really nice! Have you played the ES with it, that’s hanging in the background?
I haven’t tried any 15” guitar speakers, but I have 2 bass combo amps and a cab with 15s.
I mostly have 12” speakers in my guitar amps and cabs.
I do have 2 amps with good 10” speakers, a little Vox AC4 and a Laney VC30. They sound pretty good, but when I jack out into a 12” extension cab, it’s a whole new sound - huge. Maybe a 4x10 cab would be nice, but I really love the sound of 12” speakers.
I may have to try a good 15” cab one day, I’m sure it would be spectacular.

Thanks! Actually, the guitar on the wall is an 80s Epiphone Emperor, from before they were endorsed by Joe Pass. It's got Gibson 490s, though; the original pickups were crème de la crap . Very nice through the Twin, but it tends to make every guitar I own sound better than it is. Not complaining about that.somanytoys wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 7:05 pmDamn, that’s really nice! Thanks! I agree. This is my first 15 incher, but I already like it better than every 12 and 10 I've owned. Of course, this 15" is different from most, the magnet is huge and incredibly heavy, and the aluminum dust cap really puts a lot of treble back. This amp simultaneously sounds bigger, wider, louder, cleaner and much more detailed than every speaker I've played through. I feel like Superman playing through it. Happiness can be bought, obviously.W.L.Weller wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 12:19 pmGorgeous!
