NAD 70s Pearl Duo Reverb (Lawsuit Twin Reverb)
I picked this up locally the other week and it slays! It sounds great and is lighter than a twin. It’s basically a solid-state master volume twin reverb. I’ve been looking for a high powered amp for my pedal steel and this fits the bill perfectly.

Re: NAD 70s Pearl Duo Reverb (Lawsuit Twin Reverb)
Never played one (yet)! But I was looking at some Pearl Buffalo (PB 7100) Heads last year as the solid state combo we had in our rehearsal room started to smoke after we hit it with the EQD Acapulco Gold. It's basically a solid state Bassman. Quite Good looking too. And to be had for cheap (at least if you live in Germany...I don't. Austria is a neighbor country...but if it's not in Bavaria, this would mean driving 5-10 hours to get it?).
But when we moved to our new rehearsal room (one month later) there was no need for it anymore... Peavey Bass 400 and Mark 8 from our bassist's other band.
If one of those ever crosses my way again (either the Duo Reverb, The Sunflower or the Buffalo) I'll at least give it an audition.
Also, I already own three Fender amps. So I'm not really in need... but you never know! ;-P

Hi, first post here! I've got a 1X12 Duo Reverb and it sounds great.Nice tremolo but kind of weak reverb. However, the clean tone is outstanding!
I have no need for a Tonemaster Deluxe as this amp is a loud, clean and portable pedal platform!

Those look like nice amps. I love those twin type kickstands.
If it’s just a reverb tank, you could probably swap it out for a better one for pretty cheap, may help the reverb sound a lot better.
This may be a stupid question, but is that the same Pearl that makes drums?

It's a boost booster, to boost your boost - it makes your tone much muchier.

Yes, Pearl like drum kits. I would like to swap out the tank, but the wires are soldered to the tank, no RCA jacks. Do-able but not that important at the moment.
I forgot to say, this amp is seriously loud. I would say comparable to to a 50watt tube amp. Try that with your class D tech. I had a quilter 200w amp that had about half the volume of this amp, and this has a more clear,Fendery' voicing.
I also have a couple Pearl heads. I guess you could say I'm a fan.

Hi, I am in need of a schematic and wiring diagram for a Vintage MIJ Pearl Duo Reverb 100 watt solid state amp, model PFT101. If you have one and can share I would be very appreciative. I found one of these used and unfortunately the reverb tank was removed. What type of tank would this have had? Thank you.

Re: NAD 70s Pearl Duo Reverb (Lawsuit Twin Reverb)
looks fun. I had a similar amp for a while, heavier than sin but very cool sounding for the $80 I spent on it
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

Re: NAD 70s Pearl Duo Reverb (Lawsuit Twin Reverb)
Picked up a Pearl Vorg Bass 101 (essentially a Pearl Bufallo) head for little money this week.
Copy of a Bassman, but Solid State.
The Pearl Vorg Bass 101 has Fender Blackface looks, where the Pearl Bufallo is a visual knock off of the Fender Silverface.
But they are the same amps. Seams the Bufallo's fetch more money.
But what great amps.... I have it on a 1x15 Emminence loaded cab and coupled with a surfy bear reverb pedal/unit it sounds crazy good....
Accourding to the identification plate, it's 250 Watts on 4 Ohm.... Gotta say it's crazy loud...
Two channel amp, left is bass boost switch, right is normal with a bright switch.
Love the presence knob on this amp.
Seams the Pearl Vorg line was sold mostly in Germany as they seam to pop up there once and a while.
But you can find these in the Netherlands, Belgium and France as well.
The SF versions I haven't seen here...

Wow. These are new to me. Did they make smaller wattage copies too?
