Hey guys!
I'm pretty new into some of the older Fender amps and just came across this guy posted on my local cl - is this a good deal on a Vibrosonic Reverb?
https://ventura.craigslist.org/msg/6747649624.html
Any opinions on people who have actually played one? I can actually play it which would be nice but just want some advice on what to look out for if it's even a decent deal.
Thanks all!

Re: fender Vibrosonic Reverb
I've owned a mid-70s one for about 15 years.
They're a Twin Reverb chassis with a 15" speaker instead of 2x12. Great for loud and clean, along with building/straining your arm, neck and shoulder muscles.
Earlier models had the extremely desirable JBL D-130F speaker.
The one in the link has 'blackface' cosmetics, making it one of the last ones produced in the early '80s. The original speaker would've been a Gauss or EV.
The seller has some interesting and misguided notions about the Blackface mods, ultralinear transformers 'melting' and wattages but it's probably a pretty good sounding, very loud amp.

Thank you - I don't know what I'd do without this forum!

Re: fender Vibrosonic Reverb
Sorry. I know it's an old post. For the past six or so years, my main amp has been a 1973 Vibrosonic Reverb. Mine has a Rola era Celestian that breaks up pretty easily. I mostly use it on my pedal steel.
