Turning a Marshall mini stack into a real amp/head

Post by Fiddy » Fri Oct 12, 2018 8:49 pm

Marshall mini stack MS-4. I removed the stupid headphone jack and wired a shorting/switching? (Not sure of the name :fp:) jack, so i can play it either the internal speakers or through an extension cab.

This is the resistor pcb gizmo that makes up the headphone jack.

The guts and new wiring.

And here it is rocking in the free world. Sounds fn awesome. It drives the 2x12 quite nice and loud. I really wasn't expecting at all, that it would sound as good as it does.

Hope you enjoy, i might post a demo video but dont hold your breath...
